Artistic, homey and inventive. A handmade home designed and built by James Carr and the author Kim Adrian, this conversion of a former sculpture studio was completed on a limited budget using natural materials and innovative techniques. Bookshelves serving as partitions, custom ladders accessing sleeping and working lofts, a restaurant style galley kitchen connected to a flexible dining area capable of seating more than a dozen people, a book-lined study, and a living area highlighted by a wood stove all combine to make a home characterized by love, celebration, creativity and togetherness.
