Why do we like scaffolding?
For just about forever we’ve noticed scaffolding and been enraptured by the way it catches the light, the way it introduces surprising colors in the urban landscape, the way it comes and goes, the way it provides a means of inhabitation of the upper reaches of the city without having to go inside a building.
When most people might say, “ugh, scaffolding!” we say, “hooray for scaffolding!”
